G37xS
Hi guys!
I am looking forward to buying an Infiniti G37x soon and am quite confused with the extra options that come with the sport package.
As I have read on the infinitiusa site the sport package for the g37x doesn't include enhanced brakes and sport tuned suspension , just the package for the G37 journey:
2010 Infiniti G37 Sedan | Packages and Options | Infiniti USA
though I have read on the forum that the g37xS includes the same options as the G37 sport version excepting the manual transmission.
Where can I see that the sport package for the G37x includes the same options as those on a G37 sport?
How do you order a G37xS?
I have heard that most of the US version cars have softer suspension than the European versions.
Thank you very much.
What can you say about the G37x? How soft is the suspension?

The xS sedan really only has the sport seats, red S badge, and paddle shifters. No sport suspension or sport brakes.
Suspension feel is pretty subjective. From what I know, it's the same setup as in Europe, but I've been wrong before. The x suspension really is more than adequate for a daily driver, IMO.

Order G37x with Sport Package.
I am driving a 2010 G37x Sport and coming out of a 2008 G35x Sport. My 2010 version seems a bit softer and smoother - it glides over the road which is amazing. It handles very well and feels very connected to the road. The steering is very very good and provides the right balance of power assist and road feel. The standard brakes are great (all the literature I've read supports what others wrote here - the G37x with Sport doesn't get the upgraded brakes, suspension, or steering that the non-x RWD models get with the Sport Package).
I highly recommend also opting for the Navigation Package.

About the steering, the data sheet says sport gets the higher ratio which should include G37XS. But it is easy to find out for sure. When you go to the dealer check # of turns of the steering wheel to go from full left to full right. If it is a hair over 3 turns, it has the regular ratio, if it is 2 3/4 turns it has the sport ratio.

Yea, the 2010xS sedans did get the quicker ratio according to Nissan's own spec sheets, which the 2009s did not (I have one and wish it did!). That's not an easy upgrade and is definitely a performance advantage.

The XS gets bigger wheels too, 18" with Dunlop tires. From what I read the X gets 17" wheels w/ Goodyear tires and a lot of people complain that they make too much noise.
