Help: 26428-JK00A

Evening all,

Looking for some advise. I recently changed out my interior map lights (front and rear). I made the mistake of using a flathead screw driver; I didn't know the plastic trim was SO soft. Anyways, I indented the entire trim that goes AROUND the front map lights. I found the part number: 26428-JK00A. I can't figure out however if it's even possible change JUST the trim lining. The same part number brings up different pieces for some odd reason - the most common being map light assembly PLATE. I took a peak and saw that the trim is in fact the "plate"...

MY CONCERN: how the heck do I transfer everything over? Doesn't look like the sunglass holder or the sunroof control button's are willing to move...?

HELP? Thanks guys!!!

Eric

I doubt it. I mean they sell the safety handles in pairs. lol.

yeah the plastics are really soft. I had to find a really firm and wide nylon instrument to open that sucker up w/o damaging the plastic.

best of luck to ya

I hate how soft that plastic is, I got a little scratch on mine too. Very annoying since it makes a simple bulb change complicated.

In order to change the entire overhead console the front of the headliner has to come down and its still a pain in the a$$. The best way is to remove the headliner if you know what your doing. If not i suggest taking it to your dealer.
