My first scratch was courtesy of the dealer doing a spash guard install of all things one week after purchasing the vehicle. Still fighting that battle to get it fixed and it only makes it harder that I don't have the dealer in town.

I had a nice scuff mark on my rear qt panel 2 days after owning the car... garbage men decided to drag the trash can right along the side of my car.
The following week someone backed into my rear bumper and left a screw imprint from their front plate screws, the next day someone reversed into me while I was parked and scuffed up my freshly painted grille.

Things are gonna happen to matter what you do. While going down the highway someone liscence plate came off their car and kit my bumper causeing a pretty big white scratch. maybe two months after buying the car.

Ugh, at least you got her licnese plate down. Hopefully you'll get some restitution out of it. Having a dumb douche bag ding your car and walk away like nothing happened is the second most infuriating thing that can happen to your car, right behind being broken into.

I'm still confused, you said above the clear bra. Isn't your bumper covered with your clear bra film? When you said above the clear bra, I thought you meant beyond the protected area which would be further aft on the hood or the fenders.
