Toilet + Key FOB
Ohhh noooooooooooooooooo.
So I have my keys inside my pants, on my side. I was wearing some workout pants and just put my keys on the side of my pants. Forgeting my keys were on my side, I pulled down my pants to go to the bathroom real fast, and then I look to see where my keys fell. Next thing I know I see them at the bottom of the toilet (UNDER WATER). I froze for a second, and thought F#$#$@#$@#$! Then grabbed them out with my hands, and patted them dry with a towel. Next I grabbed a tissue and kept making sure to get all the water off of it. Then I took Chlorex Disinfecting Wipes and wiped down the key fob for a minute or so, and then put the Key FOB under my desk lamp that is pretty hot. When it first came out of the water I tried to use it in my room (my car is outside in the driveway) and it worked fine.
Do you think it will be ok? Seems to still be working normal. It was under water for about 5 seconds. Can I spray the KEY FOB with Lysol? I'm kinda of a germaphobe...

lol yeah^^
Besides, as Mythbusters have stated, your toilette bowl is far cleaner than many other places you've put your keys such as kitchen counters and what not. You basically just gave your key fob a nice cleaning!

You probably will want to open up the battery compartment (it says how in the manual) and take the metal key out to make sure everything inside dries completely.
