I've never understood why somebody would trash a loaner. It belongs to somebody and should be treated with respect. I don't mean to say you can't have fun in it, but why would you smoke in it or rip the leather or spill **** all over the place?
I've also noticed that the Lexus loaners are much better taken care of than the Infiniti ones. I wonder if that says anything about Infiniti owners??

Not really. THe dealer is not the one who spilled coffe all over the floor and stained the carpet. The dealer didn't take a key and gouge the leather off of the steering wheel rim. The dealer doesn't smoke in the car and put burn holes in it. The cars were all clean but the damages were beyond the dealer's control. The only remedy would be to buy a new loaner everytime one got messed up. I doubt the Lexus dealer does that. Its just that Lexus owners apparently are more respectful of the loaners....

But having say that I treat the loaner with respect and I always park it away from other car like i do with my own G. I just drive it a little more aggressively compared to my car.

Hey Ozzy, just know that your car will easily be like the loaner. The only question is how, without being a douche on public roads, breaking the law and getting speeding tickets along the way. Good luck

I also noticed that loaners behave differently than my car. The last time I took my car for service, I was given an 08 G35X, and every time you pushed the gas pedal it was kinda jerky. Not smooth acceleration like mine but it just charged forward, to the point that my passengers were feeling uncomfortable. I was not flooring it, justa light tap on the gas resulted in rapid acceleration. I guess thats how most service customers drove it.

I think it will. If one has a more sensitive throttle as I found with my 08 loaner back then, from the instant you tap it to WOT the car is charging forward, no hesitation, no lag, nothing. The car is just taking care of business. Whereas with my old car, the response probably came a fraction of a second or so after WOT and not as aggressive as the loaner. That should easily make up for the differences ozzypriest noted.
