FI exhaust on a G35 sedan:

YouTube - Fast Intentions Exhaust without HFC on 2007 G35 Sedan

And here's the same car with HFCs added to the exhaust:

When I get a CBE, it's FI all the way.

Ok, I surrender...lol...

I am going R2C and Tanabe from the same on site vendor and here's how I did it.

I brought up three windows...brought each Exhaut rollaway clip up to que and then brought Debi into my home office and said tell me which one sounds the nicest.

She did not like the Fast Intentions one much, She LOVED the Stillen (as do I) and thought she really liked the Tanabe so she said play number 2 (Stillen) and number 3 (Tanabe) again...so I did and she said they both sound really nice...

So I said, well through a Forum Vendor I can get the R2C and Tanabe for less than just the Stillen...and we both lol.

I figure I raced my Coupe and had the 13s in mind from the day I bought the car...Now with room for three kiddies at once and a car already 13s capable off the lot I can calm down a bit...ha ha...and save some time and install headaches.

So Sways Shipped Tonight. I already have the grounding wires. Tint and V1 are done and Coupe Rims are on. I will order R2C and Tanabe tonight/Tomorrow and here are some pics after the Spoiler install...which I am still drooling over...man did Infiniti screw the pooch not making this an S item out of the gate...with this spoiler I feel like I have the Big brother to my 05 Coupe I just got rid of...which makes life a little easier....

Thanks so much for ALL your help and opionions and time.

hiii

I'm not going cai with the G. With my Maxima and 04 coupe, I learned that simple bolt ons really don't do much for the G and there's usually a tradeoff. You might want to try the Stillen Gen 2 intake. Comes with heat shields that replace the stock airbox.

R2c has heat shields as well, and far superior filter media.

It's funny, outside of you guys I tried to search for R2C reviews...and of course God Help anyone on a forum that just asks a question about an already discussed topic b/c the SEARCH feature is thrown at you...ha ha, but anyway, like so many other forums...this one does not support 3 digit searches...even though half our industry has three digit abbreviations....

Could not find much on R2C, but I am looking forward to trying it out.

Yeah... search... Meh! LOL

They are actually local to me, and I was the test car for their 2004-2008 Maxima system. Took them a long time to get it finished, but I got a free dyno and intake out of it!

These guys really know their stuff. I said elsewhere that they have been manufacturing intakes for the military for 20+ years, and the R2c division is a new venture for them. There have been some growing pains, but they are quickly learning!

If you do go the R2c route, you will not be disappointed.

I had the R2C on my G coupe and loved it. They actually sent me the kit for the Z, so I called and told them to complain, then they sent me out a new intake for the G free and told me to keep my my Z kit. I was shocked

Intake was awesome!

How much HP did your car dyno?

OP make sure you get the Black Chrome Finish. it just looks nicer.

LOL Those guys need to learn that giving away stuff like that... it's good for the customers, but not all that great for them! I'm assuming you sold the Z system? hehe

I'll post up the dyno sheet. Keep in mind, I had headers/full exhaust/Fujita CAI (I will never ever buy Fujita crap again) for my base dynos.

That was with their prototype, none the less.
