In the meantime, if any one has the names of a reputable Infinti service department in central/northern Jersey.
I live in cranford, I was thinking of having it towed to Ray Catena on route 1 does anyone have any experience with them??

That is a perfect example why many forums over the years have become extinct or abandoned. Not something you'd expect from "Staff". If time is so precious that one can't be bothered to read the man's post, then one shouldn't have enough time to type a response that is composed of nothing but meaningless drivel. Although, with over 8,000 posts, you would think he'd have plenty of time on his hands, lol.
I'm not laughing at the post. My response is like this -- Yikes, poor guy has a problem and tries his best to shorten it to what he thinks is important and all you can do it type "Cliffs." I guess that is a reference to CliffsNotes. Geeze give the guy a break. If it is too long for you to read, skip it and save us the drama "Gamedog." Oh and I see you are "staff." If you have a legitimate beef with the guy's post, why not contact him or move it or delete it instead of posting in this manner?
Thanks
Bob
P.S. Man, I really hate to start off with a bang, but what's right is right and what's wrong is wrong!

OK- I get the picture now. Second or third owner with about 10K on the odo. The problem may be twofold. The splice and alarm install is seen as a modification to the OEM harness and may curtail or negate warranty for an electrical problem like SBPhilly is having.
The only problem with taking it to another dealer is that all this info is already posted to his car in the Infiniti database. The next dealer tech will read that out once s/he pulls up that particular VIN. I think SBPhilly has a real dilemma on his hands- either prove the first dealer incorrectly installed the alarm system OR prove the alarm has nothing to do with the electrical faults that are popping up on his G.

Did you/have you gone to Flemington? They have been nothing but 100 percent professional with me from day one. Although dk makes a good point.

Well, I'm new here and I was pretty offended that a member of the staff would post such a reply. I agree strongly with both the posts I quoted. In my opinion an apology is in order. I really hope that this site is better than that and that if I have a question about our new 2009 G37x Sedan that I am not ridiculed. Otherwise I won't be staying very long.
Thanks

However, they found some aftermarket sensor spliced into the PCM wiring and because it was done poorly the wire connections are coming apart.
It appears to be connected using the OEM wire taps that nissan includes with it, red with gray caps. Tell the dealership to show you that part number and you will see that it is the same. However it should be taped around those connectors per the installation instructions.

Infiniti knows of these shock sensors because they are regularly installed at the ports where the cars arrive in the states. They consider it a dealer add on. If the dealer you went to called the tech support line they would know all about it and they would of told them that these shock sensors are causing all kinds of problems. Hope this helps.
