I'm interested in mufflers only. A full cat-back on a naturally aspirated 300 hp. motor is overkill and too expensive. The OEM exhaust flows fine for our power levels. I would just like a little more of the VQ sound.

Sell both a full exhaust and an axle back option.

Tanabe already has an axle back available for the sedans but did not get too much interest from the sedan guys. Unlike u, most of us here are looking for a catback option which actually produces more power and not just a lil rumble to the ears.

There is no aftermarket cat-back exhaust that makes any seat of the pants improvement over OEM. There may be some minor gains on a dyno, but you won't notice any gains while driving your car. People want to believe in more than just a change in sound because they dumped $1,000+ on full cat-back.

The cats are the restrictions.

It's amazing how many people in this forum talk about this car as if it's pushing 600 horsepower and OEM exhaust is holding things back.

I like modding cars, but I'm realistic. Don't believe all the power gain hype from the manufacturers. Unless I physically witness a before and after dyno test, I don't believe the manuf. claimed gains. If you have ever dyno tuned a car you will know just how many variables can affect the dyno. Even things like tire pressure.

Nobody in the right mind would expect any noticeable gains from just a cat-back exhaust. You'd be lucky to get like 4-8 whp w/ a quality cat-back exhaust alone. It's just preference of brand, sound, design, etc.. an exhaust is an exhaust

^THANK YOU!!!!!!!!
Finally someone who has some common sense about exhausts or bolt ons period for this car.
You guys wont feel any power with an exhaust. Even if you get 10whp on a dyno jet, which is like 4whp on dynodynamics or less, you wont feel it. It's just sound, just like an intake. You might feel top end but it's basically nothing.

Its true, The cats are the most restrictive part of the exhaust system. Its very true, that is why you see 4 or 5 manufactures coming out with HFC's and Test pipes.

We already have some CAD drawings worked out.

Gains, design, Quality, weights, sound, and price all play a major factor in looking for the perfect exhaust. We will deliver you the best in all categories.

With anywhere for 6-10whp it can be felt as an increased throttle response especially from an NA engine.

Lastly, ARK PERFORMANCE simply wants to bring you the best sounding exhaust system with the most gains. We take pride in our work and stand behind all of our products.

Alex, can you expand and explain the basics of the design for the sedan model? Our exhausts are very different from the coupes set up. I just want to get a basic idea of how the sedan version will look like.. since I'll be the guinea pig for it.

You totally should Robby. I think it definitely sounds better than your Invidia.

I think it will look nothing like the coupe version since our exhausts are totally different in design.. very curious to see what it will look & sound like..
BTW I'd rather have them make just ss tips and not burnt tips. The titanium burnt tips take away from the classiness of a sedan IMO.

Alexx, care to chime in???

I know there were some fitment issues w/ the coupe versions.. I am hoping those issues will be resolved before the sedan ones are fitted.

Please give us some updates ARK.
