Whenever someone sits in the passenger seat, the passenger airbag sign lights indicating that it is off...how do I keep it on?

no, the person is sitting in the seat as a normal person would sit. they just happen to be about 100 lbs only...but i doubt that's the reason. is there a switch or something?

 

It's because of their weight. The sensor hovers around 100lbs. Thus, it thinks you have a child in the seat and turns the airbag off. This happens from time to time when I drive with my gf. Just don't get into an accident...
