Post Sunlight Glare On Navigation System?

I recently purchased a 2009 G37x. As I was driving to work this morning, the sun was out and was shining directly into my car, on my navigation system. There was a big glare and I could barely read/see anything. I also have 35% tinted windows.

Has anyone else with navigation experienced this problem? If so, what did you do about it?

Thanks in advance.

I curse the sun, but typically it doesn't help.

If someone has different opinion please chime in but I think this is going to be pretty normal for any GPS/center console mounted lcd. I remember seeing it before I had my windows tinted, but not so much after I did my huper optik... then again I don't really drive around sunset anymore either... but HO has a characteristic that actually minimizes glare inside the cabin.

I guess you can try getting an anti-glare screen overlay, but you could probably adjust your seat and see if you can move out of the reflection angle.

Try looking at it with polarized sunglasses. With mine on I can't see anything in the display!

Get a screen protector from ebay for the Nav screen. You can find one with a more matte finish and it will cut most of the glare.
