Interesting sales figures
FWIW. Was googling around and saw the November and year to date Infiniti sales figures
G sedans Nov sales 2102; year to date 28816
G sedans Nov 2008 3495; 2008 to date 41040
Whopping drop.
Coupe numbers were smaller but showed an increase Nov 2009 compared to Nov 2008 but are down year to date 2009 vs 2008.
Infiniti overall is down about 30% year over year.
Nissan car overall is up 41% November 2008 to Nov 2009, but down about 13% year to date 2009 compared to 2008.

Not too surprising considering the impact this recession has had. Infiniti sales were going to be down regardless, and the figures should start slowly improving year-to-year from here on out.

That's interesting info, a bit depressing but not hard to believe. Many folks that would be in the market for a luxury marquee have probably held off their purchase or went the route of getting an Altima instead of splurging for a G. Keep in mind the general style of the G hasn't changes since late 06 so most that wanted the current style already have the G. When the G gets a complete chngeover then the numbers will take off again. It'll be interesting to see how the new M numbers compare to the previous design. I bet the new M will really take off.
