The car in question does appear to have come from a dealer about 60 milesaway. They claim it is not a demo.

This is a 2009 G37 Journey Sedan with Premium and Nav Packages, MSRP about $39500. I can get it for $34000 even. That seems reasonable, no?

Mine had 7. I think I may have been the only one that even test drove it.

At 163 it is still considered new. Maybe you can get a little something thrown in from them.

Mine had 106, they have 2 dealers in their group, Towbin Infiniti & Prestige Infinity. We got ours at Towbin, but it had Prestige Inifiniti plates. I'd imagine it went back and forth a few times

Mine had 40 miles.
Is there definition for new car anyhow? I think the car has to be not titled..
Then for mileage i have no idea. Sure you want to have a brand new car with lowest as possible, but if the car was driven with care at 7, 40, even 160 I don't see any problem.

If you think miles little high, ask for little more discount. Now is the time to buy the car you want at a great price. Try to go low as possible even below invoice price.

34k for your package is very good price to me. But what do I know about cars..

Maybe I'm just ****, but I backed out of deal because I found out the "new" car I was about to purchase had a 180 miles on it. This is the first car that I've ever bought new, and 180 miles sort of ruined the illusion of "new" for me. I found another one, identical, with 9 miles on it.

50 on mine. It had been on the lot a while as it did not have a sunroof (at least that's why I think it did no sell) Perfect for me though as I have no use for a sunroof, moonroof or whatever market driven name they give to them. Oh and we put 15 of those on during the test drive.

The one I test drove that's identical to the one I bought had 50miles.
The actual one I got had 6miles upon delivery.

Do the dealers have the privilige to reset the miles count upon delivery?

I would never buy a car that had 100+ miles already on it unless you are getting it driven from another dealership. If it has more then 20 miles on it, you have to think it has been test driven a bunch of times, and probably been beat on already. I never buy the car I first test drove because I normally abuse it a little to see how quick it is and how well it handles. But ALWAYS test drive the vehicle you are about to purchase before you give them a check! just make sure you drive it nice and easy!

Dealerships cannot reset the odometer before delivery.
