Talking Picking up my first G Thursday, need pointers and help

Whats up guys, As you can see I'm new here, just signed up because I'm picking up my first G this thursday, its a G37x sedan with everything (tech Navi) exept the sports package. I'm getting it in Moolight white and really looking to put some white shoes on it any suggestion? Nothing bigger than 19" though... Also if anyone can tell me anything I should know, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks again guys! (and girls).

Oh by the way, this is my first sedan (and a fast one at that) I had a murano and a land rover lr2 before. Will I be surprised greatly by the performance?

L8r!

oh hai.

White rims? Might look like a rally car. How about flat black wheels? What's your budget?

Well my budget aint too big since money is a bit tight but i guess about 1000 give or take a hundred, is that enough? And i wanted some whites to match the car and make it look nice and clean ( and yes im planning on cleaning my rims everyday) lol i saw a coupe online with white rims and loved it (google g37 white rims) and i think itl look even better on my sedan. Any opinions? Thanks guys

$1000? K ignore my post above

And are you looking for wheels and tires together to be around $1000? Not sure that'll happen bro. Those wheels I posted are around $3,000 for just wheels. Maybe look into Vossen/XIX/Chikara/MRR since those seem to be a bit cheaper, but still more than $1000 for a full set.

Hmm well i checked tirerack.com they had combos for 600 (although crappy) well i think i can pinch out 2k within the next month or two.. More if longer, depends on what i find. So you think the full set with tires would be about how much? Say 19" whites , durable, not racing or anything over the top, just classy

You can probably sell the stock wheels and tires for some $$ and use that toward your new shoes too? :-)

You think you can't sleep now? Just wait until that baby is parked outside... just a few feet away...

Or like when you know you need to take it easy for ~1200 miles before you mash on the gas? You will be tested.

And yes, you will feel like it is Christmas most every time you press that ignition button.

Drive safe and enjoy. You have one nice car on the way.

now, before investing in rims or what not. Get a clear bra!! Believe me, everyone who replied so far will instantly all agree that you should get that done PRONTOOOOO =] then move on to the shoes.

YES clear bra is a most I install my at 200 miles and I am happy knowing that the front of the car would be looking like new all the time.1200 is the breaking period of this car every new engine need a break in period some more than others. The reason, to wear the new parts against each other to make them smooth, and to properly fit each other, more important the piston rings. I was not to good at that on my car, she is always asking for being punish.I try and I try ,but a few times I cant resist, but for the most part she was treated well up to 5000 miles. That was my breaking period.

I agree about the Clear-Bra. Get it immediately! The longer you wait, the more you will regret it.
