How do you leave it in the accessories 'on' position? Are you talking about the G37 here? I just got my new G37 last week and 3 days later I was having it towed back to the dealer because of a dead battery..or at least that's what we think it is.. will find out tomorrow. Any suggestions what are my options here? This is a lease.

Actually accessory is just pressing it once with the foot off the brake. the second time is the ON setting but with no starter crank.
I think that's what you meant.
When I first got my G37, I was screwing up leaving it in the wrong state when messing around with the ACC mode (until I started looking at the push button lights to tell you the switch state)

I'm going mainly by the experiences of my wife and I. She had a Honda Civic, Toyota Camry and Infiniti I30, and all three batteries had to be replaced within 3 years. She is not the type of person that sits in her car and listens to the radio, so it wasn't due to excessive use. My 2006 G35X was fine (as was hers), but this issue has been with different brands of Japanese cars. Every one of the batteries I replaced in those cars were better than the one that was in it (450-500 CCA) - and I didn't spend more than $55 for the replacement. I won't stop buying Japanese cars as a result of it. I just accept it as a cost of doing business, but just something of which I am aware.

I already killed my battery once by leaving the car in accessories 'on' position accidentally. Got it jumped, and the battery's been fine ever since - that was many months ago. I've had no problems. And the battery in my 05 Odyssey just died after 4.5 years of usage. Replaced it with a wal-mart battery. Neither I nor consumer reports could justify spending $200 where $80 sufficed.
