The openings where the fogs are now istalled look to be the same shape as what our Coupes currently have. I would think an install should fairly easy- take out the old mesh, install these and unhook the wires for the fogs that are integrated into the headlamps and run them down (if they are long enough) to the lower grille fogs. Hmmm

nothing official has been released to me, but these pics could be what the 2010's are going to be. I know Infiniti was removing the fog lights and placing them where they are suppose to be. however a lot does not add up making me think these could be photoshopped.

i'll say this... those are Bridgestone Turanzas... when was the last time you saw these tires on a G sedan?

time will come .... the 2009 still are selling well and look sharp.

That helps us how? It doesn't. OOOoo tires... not helping. I can care less about the g37 sport sedan now. I mean, if it's anything like the g25 pics, then to me it's ugly. I would rather stick with an 09. Depends, if the front end looks good, and the rear isn't ruined, then I would consider it. I will be contacting a few dealers tomorrow, some credible sources, and see if they have any pictures of it. Whoever does, and if it's to my liking, will being selling me the car.

He was re-posting a picture of the tires from the 2010 model of the Chinese version of the G and making a comment about that picture.

I took da mayor's post to be a hint that the picture does NOT show what the U.S wheels will look like and a nice way of telling us to be patient.

I've actually found in my relatively short time on the board that da mayor knows his stuff and is actually one of the more reliable posters on the board.

edit: look at post #12 of this thread, you'll see the other pictures of the Chinese g25 where da mayor got the picture of the wheel from

Infiniti G37 Sedan prices have been trending downward by 3.05% since April 5. That's from truecar.

The only reason he knows his stuff is because he works for Infiniti. I wouldn't exactly say his posts are reliable, due to the fact that he does not leak any information out. How can something be credible if they don't give you solid information? and then when the thing comes out, it looks exactly what they said it would look like.

feel like this thread has the potential to go where we don't really want it to...

Anyway, when I say "reliable", I'm saying that if da mayor posts something, I trust it to be true and not speculation or a rumor.

You seem to be saying that "reliability" somehow relates to whether or not he shares confidential information - which doesn't make sense to me. He has his name and place of employment showing in his profile, so of course he's not going to share information that he isn't authorized to. It could get him fired. I'm definitely not going to hold that against him.

To me, da mayor is "credible" because he shares what he knows, shares as much as he is allowed to, and I have not seen him say anything that did not turn out to be true.

When I said this thread has the potential to go where we don't want it - I said that because we're essentially arguing over definitions. I'm not looking to start a huge argument here. Just wanted to clarify my thoughts.

Hopefully we can get back to talking about the 2010 models - which by the way, I am not dissapointed at all that I bought the 09 and didn't wait for the 2010.

I have to agree with Wildcat. I haven't seen anything da Mayor has said that was not factual, therefore I would consider him to be credible.

It also would seem that he not only works for Infiniti, but he drives a G.

but basically what i'm saying is that we don't care about the picture of the tires and rims especially, which seems to look like the standard ones that come on the 09 non-sport packages. we just want pictures, and if he's as reliable and credible "worthy of belief or confidence; trustworthy" because he just copy pasted some tire picture from a previous thread opened from a different user on this forum, then the world is coming to an end for sure. jk jk jk!

just want pics of the 2010's that's all. not to offend anyone, or get your panties in a wad for what we feel.

Have you even read through this entire thread? Let me recap the relevant details:

antirice posted pictures of the Chinese version of the 2010 G25. Rohardi commented that he (or she - I shouldn't assume gender) didn't like the wheels. Da mayor then provided a strong hint that those wheels are not what we will be getting in the states.

I am not just basing my comments about da mayors credibility "because he just copy pasted some tire picture from a previous thread" as you say (that was never my argument). Rather, I am basing my comments on all of the posts I have read by da mayor, not just his comments in this single thread.

I have no problem with the fact that you want pictures of the 2010. I'm anxious to see them as well.

I took exception to the fact that you are attacking someone's credibility because they would not share confidential information with you.
