I would keep the G37 with the S only if I was going to de-badge my car. But usually people who debadge their cars do it to hide the fact that they drive the lower end of that model.

For instance I could see a regular Civic owner debadge his car but not an SI owner, and I could see an Audi 2.0 owner do it but not an S4 owner. Also I would never de-badge my car If I owned a M series BMW. In fact I would make the M badges bigger and put one on the hood of the car.

I thought about doing it to mine just because it is a pain to clean and wax around the silly thing.

I have debadged my G37S and left only the S. I did it this way to distinguish my vehicle from other G's that are not the S model. This seemed OK until someone said it reminded them of a Corolla with the single red S.

I'm now thinking to remove the S and put only the G back on. Seems to accurately describe the type of car it is.

I agree completely...debadging makes it look like you have a cheap model and are trying to fake someone out, and it shouldn't be considered a "mod".

Thing is, the G37 in the Middle East only comes in one option. the G37S, it's more like a take it or leave it kind of deal and besides, I got nothing to prove on the roads. The G is a sweet looking car even if the other car noobs think "hey it doesn't have the S-Badge, so it's not supercharged" lol

My badges are coming off pretty soon!

Yah... I don't care about people thinking about what car I have. some say that its a G35 and I took the 37 off... which isn't true... lol

I just think it looks better and cleaner with not as much chrome and numbers/letters on the back

Debadging mine today.

I really don't like the font anyways... and If you're driving an MT then there's really no identity crisis to worry about anyways.
