Price for a 09 G37 Sedan
Is 710/month for 60 months for a G37 Sedan Journey w/ Premium and Sports package a good deal? Or bust... I believe it comes with illuminated kick plates, splash guards, and crap i dont want or need.

also if you guys don't mind, if you have a G37 Sedan with Premium and Sport Package, can you guys write down how much you guys paid before tax/title/etc because CA tax = rape and differs from a lot of people's OTD price.
and what your monthly payments are if financed?

I think that is exactly what I got. Mine may have had more or less what you stated.
I think the price I was given was around $43,000 or a bit more. and the lease price was for a 3-year(36month) lease was around $351 a month, but with $8800 down at signing.

the base price is 33 for the journey, the options you want are 4000. sorry saw you didn't want the nav...
ok premium sport on a journey will still net you about 35-36 for the car. MSRP is going to be 39. 35-36 @ invoice.
sport is a big package for the journey. it changes like half of the car.
here's the thing. essentially the best deal you're going to get w/o dealer incentives is out the door is typically MSRP on an infiniti, which is already good for a very high selling car.. try walking into BMW to get MSRP out the door... gluck w/ that one. infiniti dealers aren't swelling with cars right now... they're selling VERY VERY Well. I have a dealership here w/ ZERO cars on that lot before September.
I would say 710 a month if you factor in your 1.9% interest is essentially invoice, TTL, and interest. which isn't that high for what you're buying. you can't probably do a little better... but 710 w/o anything down is actually pretty good.
if you want 650 your out the door price has to be below 38k OTD... which will not happen at any dealership with more than one package. at the end of the day, TTL will add 10% to the price of the car. if you want it cheaper you're going to have to wait until year end clearance. maybe infiniti will bring back the 0.9 + 4500. who knows. but I'll let you know now typically you won't find a sport level G lasting that long. You'll find plenty of premiums, base, premium nav, premium tech. x premium, but typically sport level Gs dont' last until year end in november unless they're fully equipped. thanks to people like us (owners and potential buyers talking about the trim levels) Sport level Gs fly off the lot before any of the other ones.
but hey go to another dealership (one with a lot of cars sitting on the lot) and negotiate the price you want... worst they can say it no... but like i said a dealership can sell all of their cars selling @ invoice before anyone else. at the end of the day paying invoice is a good deal. and if you want something better, they're not exactly incline to sell it to you because another person will come that is willing to.
from a business stand point, the dealership needs to balance the numbers. I got a really good price because we both new my trade was going to net the dealership 3k more in their pocket than what I was going to sell it to them for. so they took a little more off the car (MSRP was 45, 41.5k invoice, paid 40.5 + plus some freebies) but like i said I gave them a really good reason to give me an incredible deal.

Oh... I had nav in mine, sorry.
How much are you willing to put down? As I said we put $8,800 down and the price per month for a 3 year was under $400. But if we had put less down, it would be over $700.

I ordered my Blue Slate G37s 6MT, illuminated kick plates, nav, cargo net and having them tint the windows and paid 37,503 OTD yesterday. My deal was invoice plus $400, then we took off the 2500 in dealer incentive cause I used my bank. I put nothing down.703.44 is my monthly payment.

I bought my sedan right at the end of July. I was able to get $2,700 under invoice (including the $2,500 for not using the special rate financing). I requested quotes online through Edmunds, and after a little back-and-forth with the dealer was able to get down to that price.
I don't know about the supply/demand where you are, but since it's even later in the model year, if you can wait for the end of the month, you can probably get the dealer when they're a little more motivated to move inventory.
If you haven't checked it out already, edmunds.com was great for pricing out the car. Just say what options your looking at it'll give you the invoice and msrp.
If you're using the financing specials I'd try to get at (or just below) invoice. If you're using another source on the loan beside the dealer, try to get at least the $2,500 incentive under invoice.

oops. Skimmed over the first part of the post where he mentioned the 60 months. Also sounds like he's not trading in or putting anything down, so it probably would be cheaper to take the 1.9% than take the $2,500 and finance through a bank or credit union. (you'll want to check the math on that one though).

I recommend using the TMV price off of Edmunds.com. and negotiating up from
invoice price.
I just bought a 09 G37X Sport Premium, Nav', and tech' packages for 40K including
shipping fee, tltle, registration and dealer fees.....sales tax was not included.. I can't believe some of the prices I see being paid here.....OUCH

just remember most of the people here took the 2500 cash incentive cause the financing wasn't that great. I mean that's why the prices seem a lot lower than what the average person can negotiate. just keep it in mind... (i mean my car neg price was 37000. this car had a 45k sticker... this is plus 3500 dollars worth in freebies) but I took the financing instead cause I didn't feel like putting down any money.
like I said tho. getting below invoice w/o dealer incentive usually isn't going to happen cause the sales aren't hard at the moment. there are just dealers out there that can't sell cause they're too greedy to budge on a 500 dollar difference in a car's price. (same goes for buyers)
there's like 3 things that can manipulate the new car purchase. high valued trade in, paying in cash, or dealership incentives. any of these things can push the new car to sub invoice price. other than that, a dealership is not going to sell you a car for more than what they paid for them. Just like Vegas, the house will always win.
but hey just go buy the car the way you're supposed to: have an idea of what you want to pay for it (realistically) and see if you can get to it. I mean you've seen the prices here. it's not impossible. you just need to play the game like the dealership is, you have to sell it.
but realistically:
the car like 38.2 invoice. you're paying 9% in taxes maybe? about 0.5% in fees? and then 1.9% financing. IMHO, your price is pretty fair. I would put money on you not going to get that car for 38k out the door w/o the dealer incentive... or a internet pricing mistake. However I would try to get a few freebies out of the dealer. like 3 years of oil changes or like a tint or something. just as a good faith gesture.

I paid $3000 below invoice (including $2500 incentive) with no haggling using zag.com on a G37 Journey with premium and nav ($33,034). That was a good $600 less than the lowest haggled price from 2 other dealers I was working with.
