What's your insurance premium for new 09 G37 sedan?
Hey guys, how much do you pay? I think I'm paying too much. I have total of 4 cars(multi car discount) insured by Allstate. I'm paying $693 for G37 every 6 month with 50/100 and 500 deductible. I'm 38 and married and have clean record. I'm paying $885 for my 02 M3 convertible and $331 for 04 Toyota Sienna. Do you guys think $693 is reasonable for 4 door sedan?

I'd say how much I was paying, but that would mean nothing to you unless you can find someone with a similar situation in the same area....
But, comparing the G37 premium to the Sienna premium, it doesn't look THAT far out of line. The G premium is going to be much higher because of quite a few factors, but I think the main one is replacement value: That's a big factor in the rates. Your Sienna was probably cheaper than the G to start with AND it's depreciated. So if you total it, your insurance company isn't out much. If you total a brand new G...your insurance company has to pay a ton.
They will also assume you're more likely to get in a wreck or get a ticket because of the G, etc.
So in my (not expert at all) opinion, an 09 G costing twice as much as an 04 minivan to insure is not entirely unreasonable.
Then again, the only real way to know if you're paying too much is to request quotes from other insurers. Insurance costs vary so much by person because of age, driving history, location, etc. It's hard to judge the actual dollars another person is paying.

As WildcatG pointed out it’s tough to tell what you should be paying by asking what others are paying that might not be in your area/situation. And getting quotes from other agents would be the best idea but with that said, I have to add my 2 cents because I hated Allstate when I had them. Almost 3 years with them and my premium never went down though the vehicles surly depreciated. And after I moved to another company my agent calls and had the nerve to say how he wished I would have called him because he could have got me a lower rate. I transferred over my two vehicles a couple years ago and dropped from $1000 every 6 months to $600. Nice savings but also this dropped my deductibles from $1000/$250 to $100/$0. I believe my liability is 100/300/100 but off the top of my head can’t say for sure. I went with State Farm because a buddy of mine works at a local body shop and said they are the best when it comes to getting a vehicle fixed. Meaning they approve OEM parts and don't try to cheat you out of a quality job. Now I traded an S2000 for the G and when I called about the insurance they said my premium wouldn't change, so I insure a 04 Titan and the 09 G Sedan for just over $600 every 6 months. I too am 38 with a clean record, though not married and also get a home owners discount. Probably the biggest difference though is I live in IA and the town is considered rural which helps out tremendously.

Thanks guys! You guys are right also the location is a big factor. When I was moved to new house in better area last year(Philly to suburb), my premium dropped about 30%!!! So yeah, it's not really comparable to others but I still wanted to have an idea what others pay for their G.
mello03 and g37musings, you guys are lucky. That is pretty low for the coverage!
