G37 vs A4

Never known anyone to call the Audi interiors cheap. Remember, there is a reason why manufactures and magazines call Audi the benchmark of interiors that everyone tries to match.

I have to agree. People always praise Audi's interior but I sat in one (A6) and wasn't impressed that much. It was nice though.
I really like the Lexus IS interior. Very luxurious feel. The G interior is nice. I like it better than the Audi's. But they are both behind the IS's.

The marketing pictures always look great on any car. The interiors on our cars are nice but Audi is head and shoulders ahead on fit & finish. I like the styling of the G interior over the picture of the Audi above. all of that is subjective. But the quality of materials on most Audis are just better.

Looks vs quality of materials and feel are a big difference. I sat in a new G, didn't like the interior compared to the Audis I have been in. My 03 Audi had a better quality interior than the newest G interior. But I liked the design of the G's interior over it. Now the new Audi's design, has caught up and is super nice.

If you're at all interested in performance, get the Infiniti. A couple days ago I smoked a 2.0T... in my '10 QX56 4w. I lie, I pulled him by a bit, but I had 3 people in the car (vs just him). That's just sad.
+1 for Infiniti exterior looking better than Audi's.
I was thoroughly impressed by the G37 Sedan that I rented. So much so that I'm nabbing one when the '10's arrive. The only thing left to decide is Black Obsidian or Blue Slate (leaning towards slate).
Drive the G (and I mean really "drive" it), you won't even glance at the Audi again.
Good luck.

I was down to the A4 and G37x as well. In the 11th hour I could have easily gone either way. Looks vs. performance vs. reliability / cost of ownership vs. popularity
The final decision point for me? I test drove the A4 for an hour (actually it was probably my 6th test drive - I was an annoying customer) - then I went to the Infiniti dealership and drove the G37x for an hour.
I chose the G because I found myself smiling as I was tearing around town. You don't want to buy a car and have regrets....

Personally, I would only get the A4 if you got the 3.2(which is more expensive)... i mean if you are in the market for a G37 (V6 with a 3.7 liter engine), for the same price, why would you get the Audi A4(which only has a 2.0L 4 cylinder)??
I will say, the Audi is a nicer looking car in my opinion, but they are always in the shop, don't hold their value, and the engine doesn't compare.
Personally, I would go for a C350 Mercedes or a BMW 328 or 335 before the Audi.
But I love my G37S sedan
