New Sedan owner! Great site! PICS Added!
What up fellas?! Been plotting on a G37 sedan for weeks now and been reading over the site, studying DIY's and rim/suspension/intake mod info. Finally went down to Ray Catena tonight and purchased one. Didn't take delivery yet since they have to find the car me and the wife want. If you've ever been to Ray Catena or seen their property, you'd think they'd have what we want in stock. They were seriously acting like finding a RWD S was like a needle in a hay stack (that was their phrasing).
Anyway, you think we got a good deal? I don't know if when you guys say OTD, you mean before or after taxes. Anyhow, we got a Journey RWD S with Nav. And they threw in the deck lid spoiler at no extra cost (not the high spoiler, the lower profile spoiler). The color will be Platinum Graphite or Blue Slate, which ever they find first. Taxable cost was $38K-even after $1000 trade before tax, and about $41110 after taxes. Edmunds said for this same configuration, people in my area are paying right around we paid, but I don't know if that is with or without taxes. Either way, we are happy. Should take delivery Friday or Saturday!
I know there is another thread on it, but if you guys don't mind, if you post in here, please put your stock config and cost. Thanks! Looking forward to posting here!

Lol! Nah! If anything is going in the trunk, it will be my 10 Alpine Type S I took out of the old car. But I'm not sure if that will even make much difference over the stock system. Depends on what the stock system sounds like. First mod though will either be intakes or Eibachs!

Now, they are talking about sometime next week. Last night he said Friday or Saturday morning. I don't know WTF the deal is, but they found the car today! I don't know what the hold up is. I almost wanna get my deposit back and take my check to another dealership!

OTD = out the door, which means including the car, tax, delivery charges and whatever the dealership throw in there.
Congrats on your G. I got my 6mt for 40,000 OTD, very good deal considering the dealership has to ship it from another State.
Also, when they said they found it, that means they found another dealership that has it in inventory, but it'll take time for them to buy it and deliver it to them, hence the wait. But I know the feeling; staring at my cel phone for days, looking up on mods and options, going through the brochure again and again...
