A few pics of my new G37 Sport 6MT...

I'm loving this car. Nissan offers excellent bang for the buck. I priced a 335i with same options and test drove it three times. I just could not justify the nearly $11,000 difference in price. I loved the motor in the 335i, but I don't care for interior or exterior. This G is a beautiful car. The paint looks flawless on this one. It's been tough keeping this motor away from redline. I'm trying to baby it for the first 1,000 miles for no other reason than it's a brand new car. It probably makes no difference, but I just can't bring myself to romp on it yet.

I may add some aftermarket air intakes just to boost the motor sound up a bit. I don’t expect any real gains from them as I think the OEM design is pretty good. I think this motor is pretty well tapped out and without adding forced induction, I can’t see any mods. adding much power. It has enough power for a street car. If I could find an exhaust that isn’t too aggressive, I may add that at some point, but I don’t want to ruin the appeal of this car.

It would be sweet if it was bit lower to the ground, but I don’t want to mess up the ride quality. I think the OEM sports suspension is a good balance between sport and comfort. I also happen to really like these wheels so I won’t be changing them. I will pick up a set of winter wheels and tires for December through March. Summer tires are not going to work too well in the winter. Been there, done that. My last two cars were Mustang GT’s. <O</O

Congrats!! MW looks great on the sedans! (Maybe I'm biased since I have pretty much the same car as you. Hehe.)

To respond to your post concerning mods. The Injen CAI system does actually add a little bit of power and helps the car sound more aggressive. Also, I have NOTHING but good things to say about the Stillen Exhaust for the Sedans. PERFECT fitment, sounds amazing, still reasonably quite, but just enough to know it's there. So, IMO, you cant go wrong with those two mods.

I'm in the same boat as you about the wheels. I Like the OEM Sports 18's, but nobody else on the board seems to.

Also, I have a set of Tanabe Sustec S-OC coilovers on the way, but I'm thinking about selling them and just staying stock. The ride is the perfect blend of sportiness, but yet somewhat comfortable. I don't want to mess up a good thing! Congrats again on your car, 6mt's are the BEST!

Get you Eibach and your ride will still be OEM and you will be lowered.
