Was it a demo?

How did u come up with 10.8% Link?

36000+2500= 38500(pre-incentive)
38500/44475=86.5%... So 13.5%

that deal sounds ridiculously good!

Nope, it wasn't a demo. But it had under 20 miles on it. I don't understand too much of the dealer language (For example. Incentives, docs, MC, invoice-msrp etc.). So I won't be able to help you in that part. But my dealer loved me.

You got the hint: This is my first brand new car.

i added the ripoff document fees and dest charge into the final price.

when negotiating price, the dest charge should always be added.

so, 36000+865+$350 "overcharged" for doc fee. = 37215

(that ridiculous doc fee is pure profit above $50.)

+ 2500 pre incentive = 39715

39715/44475 = 0.893 = ~10.8% off

G37xS Moonlight white/stone interior premium sport
> nav/ipod interface cargo net and trunk mat all weather floor mats
> (black and reg) wheel lock nuts splash guards
Here is was the dealer offer:
> Bear in mind that our dealer cost on this car is $38,924.00 ( Which I
> am happy to show you).
> Hear is our best offer $37,250

but with 2500 rebate back to dealer + some kick back because i am paying cash and financing, i think it should be lower

36500 sounds about right?????????

Is this a good deal?

2009 G37X sport, prem, nav pkg, Liquid Platinum for $37,000 and I am taking the 0.0% financing. Price is without the $2500 incentive.

I also will be trading in my Nissian maxima 98 SE, leather, sunroof, spoiler with 67,700miles (weekend car). There are minor dents and scratches from parking in NYC street. Kelly blue book says $3500 but I know I going get screwed on the tradein. Just curious, what you guys think its worth.

Lastly, what is the average dest, doc, & lic fee everyone is paying?

hahaha. no salesman would ever be "happy" to show you their dealer cost.

they're only 'happy' to show you if it's a bullsht price.

if dealer invoice is 38924, at a price of 37250, they just charged you $826 over invoice.

FAIL

you should've replied- "you think i'm stupid?"

if you didn't get 10% off msrp (before incentive), it aint a good deal. so you do the math

Tell them if they want your biz, to give you the trunk mat, and cargo net for free... and all-season floor mats... a tube of touch-up paint.

OP, I think you could do better.

Check Zag.

yesterday i negotiated on a X Coupe with Premium and NAV, and managed to get $36,661. That's invoice (41,161) minus the cash-to-dealer incentive (3000) minus the full payment incentive (1500). The car stickers at 44,825 so I saved roughly 8k, and after the Amex referal program and tax deduction next year, it will be more like 9k off MSRP. Oh, and they threw in cargo net and trunk mat for free, as well as State inspections for the life of the car.

Unfortunately they didn't have the color I wanted, so I put down a deposit on a Blue Slate due to arrive on October 13th.
