The more I look at the OEM 18" wheels of the G37 Sedan, the more I hate them. It's the worst looking Infiniti wheel by far, WTF was Infiniti thinking?

Those are the stock 18's on my 07. Eibach did the R&D on my car a couple of years ago so there was no charge:

I don't have a good side shot with the stock wheels, but the car ended up with the front and rear tires lined up with the top of the fender opening. I got new wheels and tires but the OD are about the same so this picture should give you an idea of where the ride height should end up:

AFAIK, Eibach compensated for the added weight of the VHR motor, so the front coils are different than the ones with in my car which has the HR motor.

I say no, but others may disagree. I've run stock struts on my lowered cars for years without problems. I still have the stock struts in my G as well.

My thinking right now is to keep them until they develop a leak or no longer work. Once that happens, I'll switch to coil overs. Of course, I would change to COs sooner if I were more serious about the turns.

In the mean time, I don't want to switch them just as a precaution because there is no point in having stock struts sitting in my garage.

I'm in the very slim minority here, but I actually like the OEM wheels on the sports. I wish they were 19's but other than that, they don't bother me. I do, however want this wheel right here (Volk G2 in Hi Metal Bronze). But, I'm not sure I'm ready to fork out $5k on a set of wheels just yet!
