All of the posts between the OP and mine were... well... lets just say that when I was opening threads for my daily whoring, this thread was the OP and the OP only =P

When I posted and saw like 10 responses above mine, I was almost sad .

The internet can be a scary and mean place

It's just slightly irritating when people as that; I understand the Infiniti website isn't the clearest, but when every competing make/model has a sport package, wouldn't the logical choice be to choose the tranny and see if the package is available?

Virtually every 'car configurator' I've seen always makes you pick a tranny before anything else.

Carry on

I'm usually a lot nicer, especially if someone asks a question that hasn't been asked before, or one that requires me to do some research to answer. I'm always on the quest for more knowledge.

That answer depends....on you.

IMO; The key difference is the sport seats; some find them to be a bit confining and others will say they're the best OEM seats other than BMW. Try both the sport seats and non-sport seats and you'll have a better answer.

Do you drive hard?

Do you prefer having a firm suspension made for handling as opposed to a softer one for a smoother ride?

Do you need/want brakes bigger than the standard Carrera Turbo brakes?

Are you small enough to comfortably fit in the sport seats?

Will you use paddle shifters?

Will your driving utilize a LSD (better question might be, are you familiar with LSDs)?

Actually, I think the G's sport seats are a little on the mushy side; I much prefer the firmer feel of the bimmer's sport seats. But that aside, the rims/tires and sport brakes are worth it.
