New Member and Owner

Hey all,

Just recently registered and I'm the proud new owner of a 09 g37xS Liquid Platinum/Graphite. It has premium and Navi packages.

Hoping to add the stillen exhaust and maybe cold air intake kit too.

So far i'm very pleased with her and hope I don't have some of the problems that others are reporting. I'll get some pics up soon.

Congrats, waiting to pull the trigger on a car with your same package. Looking to shop the price ive been quoted. $41,100 for the G37xS with the nav and preim, and the midnight grill option. How close is it to your $? Thanks for the feedback.

The car and dealership have been great so far. I was given a great deal of 400 over invoice and a generous trade-in. They also threw in free all season mats. I know its small but it counts.

I also managed to get 2.9% apr on the loan. However when I drove the car for the first time in the sun I noticed a weird scratch on the windshield. Without any argument they went ahead and ordered a replacement windshield as long as I came in. Low and behold the dealer made us breakfast, looked at the car, and ordered the replacement.

All this for the price I paid on my '04 maxima which was Nissan's biggest lemon ever.

I'm pleased so far lets see. Will let you know how she fares on i55 and such around chi town..

It seems that is aliiin does have that line memorized... Probably copy/paste thing. I went with the sedan because (cough) kids are in the future and two doors are pita regardless of how much better the car looks. Its also longer and in my parking garage that equals more pita.

I live in chicago and funny thing on the way to work... Saw the same exact model, colors, and build of my car next to me. Haven't seen a single g37xS in the area until today. We looked at each other and sprinted around all the other traffic in the rain. Gave my girlfriend a heart attack.

Yes i'm looking at the stillen CAI and exhaust. I don't want to do to much to her because I want to keep warranties (dealership work keeps warranty from what I understand) and don't want to drop too much cash into a brand new car. If there are more economical options I'm game but the dealership would have to be cool with it.

Its been a long time since i've modded or had anyone mod a car of mine. The last time was with an 89 240sx which I added twin turbos and more to back in 1990.

Oh and Chicago weather is killing me... still haven't been able to get a decent photo of the car except for one from my camera phone at the dealership. It kinda sux.

congrats on the purchase. See if you can get the redemption code from one of the members here - $500 AmEx card for you / $150 for them.

"Welcome to Infiniti’s Owner Recommendation Rewards program. Here’s how the program works. Infiniti owners who received an exclusive offer in the mail are able to recommend to a friend that they purchase or lease a new Infiniti vehicle. When the friend purchases or leases a new Infiniti vehicle, both owners will receive an American Express®-branded award card — worth $150 for the original owner and $500 for the new owner. Should the original owner, or members of their household, choose to purchase or lease a new Infiniti vehicle, they are eligible to receive both cards. After purchase or lease, either the original owner or the friend can enter the redemption code from the mailer and the requested information. To get started, simply fill out the form below"

Go to the buying/leasing section as there are members who have the code - just need someone to share it with. If you can't find anybody, g35driver.com has members as well with the code. The purhcase must be between the dates of March 23, 2009 and June 30, 2009

I cant even begin to imagine what ALIIIN's response would be if someone said "NO mod plans"...

I think his head would pop clean off the top of his shoulders..
