I am disappointed in the G37 Sedan nav. The screen resolution is too low. I keep the screen on the Status screen almost all the time as the nav graphics are disappointing. For $2,000, it should have been better especially for a brand new 2009 car.

I'd go NAV. You'll end up modding the car afterwards and most of the OEM Sport stuff gets replaced.

If you can get both, then that is the way to go. It depends on the use of the car. For a family car, then IMHO, get the Nav. But for the Sedan G37xS, the sports package is just the upgraded seat, 18" tires and front bumper. There is no suspension upgrade.

I would suggest saving just a little more and get both. But if you have to chose, get the Nav, the suspension mods can always be added later whereas Nav and the backup camera is much harder to do.

Do you seriously want 720p or 1080p on your Nav screen

hoyalawya is right. The resolution is sub par. Every current handheld GPS unit I have seen is sharper.

Get the Nav package. You can add better looking wheels and get adjustable suspension aftermarket that are better performers than you would get through the S package.

I was in your same boat. I finally got both and glad I did. I agreed with mostly everyone. With this much money for a car, get exactly what you want. Trust me, it will haunt you for a long while for you don't.
