why are car dealers not willing to budge a lot on the price

for a new 2009 G37x AWD sedan. Are the rates going to shoot up in April2009 that they do not want to sell their cars at great bargains now? I may be more susceptible to buy next month rather then this month and wondering if i should pull the trigger and buy now or wait till next month to go get one.

The deals are very good now. Just closed today on an '09 x awd sedan with: Premium/Nav/Tech/Sport/Splash Guards/Trunk Mat - selling price 39.225k, purchase with fair trade allowance for my '04 G35 Coupe 6mt. Given the decline in '08-09 volume across the entire product line and Nissan's 3/31 fiscal year end, appears to be game on to move cars.

I bought my G this past weekend. The dealer told me that the G37X sold very well in the DC suburb during the past month. So the short answer is that they think they can do better than the price you gave them.

I'm in Canada and wondering the same thing. The prices are very good now and I worry that after Nissan year end (March 31), prices might rise. I don't think they will go any lower

The msrp was $43,525, less $4,300 'Savings'.

Some dealerships aren't... others are. You just gotta find the one that feels the need to move some cars.

I purchased an 09 g37x nav/pre/wood/mats,etc. for $500 below invoice out the door (included doc fees) with essentially no negotiation at end of January. This was when the cash to dealer was $1000. Now that it is $2000 you should be able to get at least $1000 below invoice.

Good deals to be had...

I just purchased a 2009 G37x with Prem, Nav, Tech, wood trim, splash guards, cargo net, and trunk mat for $1,710 under dealer invoice and $5,325 under MSRP, out the door including Doc Processing Fee (excluding taxes and tags). This was 2 weeks ago with the $2K dealer incentive. If your salesman is not willing to give you a great deal, find another dealer.

Looking to sell, what price?

Hey all,

I just bought my AWD G37 2009 two weeks ago, now my company gave me a company car, so kinda crazy to keep it even though I love it!

Only 850 miles, if anyone is interested hit me up...have a rough price in mind but its damn hard with it being so new.

prem package and in mint obviously. (oh i am in eastern PA)

thanks
