got G37 Sedan for a loaner car and
my G37 coupe again started to give me problems... so i took it to Santa Monica service dept. and they gave me brandnew(w/56 miles) G37 sedan for a loaner car. i just came back after putting approximately 1200 miles on the car over the trip to SF.
my impression is that this car is really nice over all. have not driven g35 sedan but driven FX35 and EX35 so i know how the VQ35 runs. also i felt that the tranny was very smooth...
do they have 7speed tranny on all G37 sedan automatic standard?
suspension was stable and felt comfy. handling was not bad at all.
i have driven IS350, C300 and 335i but i would definately pick either G or IS.

last time i drove over 1000 with EX350 that they gave me...
they did not say anything.
anyway useless to say my G is possibly a lemon
i got my window and bank actuator TSB fixed a few months back that was when they rented me out with EX..
anyway same problems recently has been occured. my windowns will roll up and then roll down right away with auto up button feature. and they replaced my engine oil with ester oil but that noise is still there....

yup, same as my local dealer here. had them install my HFC's, and the gave me a base G37 sedan with 300mi on it! Since I have an 07Sedan, not much inside has changed! but i feel that those seat heater dials new for 09, feel pretty cheap, and with a good hit to the top of that button, might break it off. so I like my switches better!
. as for the trans and engine, I like it. car can move! when that trans downshifts, it puts u back in your seat! can't really tell if it felt faster than my 6MT G35, and cruzing at about 65mph, RPM's was at like 2200-2300. Not bad. but if i had to get another G for any reason, I would try the Auto next time.
