Dealer trashed my 2 week old new car!!!!
So, I took my 2 weeks old G37 Journey sedan, Prem, and Navi to Santa Monica Dealer to get few scratches removed that occurred while they were detailing the new vehicle on delivery.
Dealer decided to send my vehicle to the local body shop to get the work done. While this was going on I was stuck on their base model 2008 G35 loaner car, while paying for the upper model car.
•One week goes by, and the car comes back with wrong work done to the car.
•Two weeks goes by, and the car comes with half finished work.
•Three weeks goes by, and the car comes back with, front bumper scratched/collision damage, Back bumper scratched/collision damage, Back passenger side door has nice rock chip down to the metal, Back Trunk lid is scratched up deep, Rear fender has nice dent/scratch, Left side Driver, and Passenger side door has white paints, scratches, and paint striped down to the metal, Metal trims all scratched up.
Now, its going to take another 2-3weeks for them to fix all these problems.
Total: 6 weeks out of service.
On top of these damages, my car added 60 miles of which someone drove extra 15 miles. Where da hell did you guys go with my car!!!?
I’m going to ask why someone was allowed to drive my car when they were only given permission to drive from dealer to body shop.
It is very upsetting that these entire problem happened to a brand new car. I have a bad feeling that dealer is going to send it to the same body shop to do quick patch up work to save some money.
I know that once you take it to the body shop, it’ll never be the same after they take it apart, and paint the car. It’s no long new any more.
I’m going to demand that they buy back my car since it was damaged, or have them replace at the damaged parts at the body shop I pick, using the brand new original parts to make the car all new again.
If you guy know where I can file a complaint with Infiniti, please let me know.

Bro, that is absolutely ridiculous. GET A LAWYER! and explain your situation. That is just ****ed up.. all that to a new car too. I would be pissed and would most likely flip on the entire dealership if something like this was done to me. I can't hold in my anger for this kind of stuff.. LOL but yea something doesn't seem right here.. You can also try BBB (Better Business Bureau) and you can also contact the infiniti corporate.. but I highly doubt they will do anything for you. I would just get a lawyer if they don't do a buy back.

that is crazy. I would demand a buyback too. Your car is not new anymore. If your car needs to be repainted at 2 weeks old than something is seriously wrong. You have barely had your car for a month and you already need body work done. It just isnt new anymore.

Santa Monica Infiniti / Service Dept. will actually be closing down within the next 3-4 weeks, according to my service rep there. My car is there right now as well, and I was told if my repairs would take more than 1 week they would have to send the vehicle to another dealership.
AND Last time my car was at Santa Monica Infiniti I got my car back with massive scratches on my hood/trunk!

Man, I don't know what I would do if my dealership pulled that shi*t on me. I'd probably turn green and do a "HULK SMASH !!" on them.
But seriously man, that blows. I hope you can get a buyback.
