Starting to Mod my 09 G37

I posted this in the 07+ section of www.G35driver.com because I am on there quite a bit. Here is a link if you are interested. When I get more done, I may start a thread on here, but I have a ways to go....

Link: http://g35driver.com/forums/picture-...ing-begin.html

Enjoy, and thanks for looking.

I remember you had those rims in your trunk at the last meet. Nice!

I have Blue Bat's GTR tail-light overlays and the rear valance overlay on the way now. After that, I am not sure. Probably a set of coilovers and adjustable front A-arms. I also talked to Cobb today about the AccessPort while they were doing my alignment. They took the code off my ECU to check out, and they think they will have something out soon (that may be 6 months).

6-12 months down the road I may consider some other power mods (Stillen or FI exhaust, intake, etc.). If things go well over the next couple years, I may turbocharge it in a year or two.

That's it for now....

Yup. It took a couple weeks to get everything together. Thanks!

Very nice looking wheels.

Are the tires still staggered? What size tires did you get? Is your ride dropped?

Would you mind sharing the cost of these modifications?

Thanks.

Yes, the tires are staggered. 245/40/19 front and 275/35/19 rear. The wheels are Volk GTS's in Titanium gunmetal. They are 19x8.5 (+36 offset/inset "A" for Volk) and 19x9.5 (+37 offset/inset "C").

I am dropped on Eibach springs for the 07-08 sedan. I also have Eibach (SPC) rear camber arms. We discussed this in another thread, but the 09 Eibach springs should be out in about a month. These do work, and I am happy with them so far.

I had my alignment done today, and the toe is in spec all around, the rear camber is at -1.3, and the front camber is at -1.5 and -1.8.

Eibach springs $220 from tirerack.com
Eibach rear camber kit $180 from tirerack.com
Volk GTS wheels $2400 from Wheel Warehouse (center caps +100)
Volk Formula lug nuts $200 from Aspec
Falken FK-452 tires $1000 from Discount Tire
You can throw in some tax and shipping on top of the above. I installed the springs and camber kit myself, and had Cobb tuning align it for $100. That's it.

Thanks everyone else for comments!!!
