Platinum Graphite vs Blue Slate
Im in the process of buying a sedan and i really wanted white but will never again get a car with light interior so its black leather for me. But anyways im stuck in which color to go with.. im honestly basing it on which one will look better and be easier to work with for mods (rims etc etc) so far blue slate is on top what do you guys say?

I thought for a long time that I would get the blue slate, if I ever got a G.
When shopping for the best color, blue slate trailed the other blue color (I forget what it's called), and I chose what I have now--platinum graphite. My wife and I think it is the most classy and that it has the most nuances in changing light. Oh, and we like it the best.

Blue Slate is definitely a classy color, but PG is my favorite by a longshot. Both my previous 07 G35 and my 09 G37 are in PG with Graphite (Black) interior, and I couldn't be happier. I agree that it depends on the look you're going for. BS is probably a 'classier' color, whereas I think PG goes for more of the primal, 'machine' look.
I also think it's one of the best colors for upkeep. I try to wash her every 4 days or so, but even when I miss a week or more, from a distance she looks clean as a whistle.
Good luck with your search; it's not a bad decision to be in

On cars, I stick with Black, White, Red, or Silver. Obviously there are multipe variations of these. I love the blue slate, but PERSONALLY, I think I could get tired of a blue car. Which do you like better?
On a Sidenote, EVERY 4 DAYS!?!?! Quit making the rest of us look like slackers. Has the paint just fallen off yet? Ha!

FWIW - Blue Slate was at the top of our list, but with no garage it would have been green with pollen in the spring, and white with salt in the winter - in between washes..so we stick with silver or light tans/grays.
The Liquid Platinum with graphite interior is gorgeous! The silver literally looks "liquid" when it doesn't have salt on it from the darn salt on the snowy roads...
We picked ours up Monday - G37X 7AT sedan w/navi/prem.
Have fun choosing!

I get so many more compliments about my blue slate than I had ever imagined!! Actually, driving it off the lot I wasn't very impressed (it was an overcast day) because I thought it just looked dark gray. But on the first sunny day, the blue slate had a chance to show it's "true colors" so to speak. Honestly, everyone compliments the color when they see my car.

Well the look im going for is classy/sport.. Which is why im basing my choice on which color would look best and be easiest to work with while modding the car in example rims..
(always gotta think about the future when buying a car ive learned that the hard way)
