Incorrect.

The G37xS doesn't come with the BBK. The G37S does.

Wait can u clear this up. Ohh okay The AWD(X) version doesn't come with bigger rims, and bigger brakes, but comes with the torso supports, and stiffer shocks, and paddle shifters right? But the G37Sedan only comes with 7AT, sport version comes with bigger rims, and bigger brakes, and everthing else metioned. OH and limited slip diffrentail. I thought none of the versions for 09 came with diff rims?

It's going to be pretty hard to find people on a car enthusiast website that are going to suggest not to get the sport package, this question was kind of useless if you were looking for an objective opinion lol

So here's mine, SPORT FTMFW!!!

With a little research it is quite clear. The text below is from the Infiniti site. Seems like you only get bigger wheels + tires, paddle shifter, different seats with thigh extension, door sills and aluminum paddle in AWD Sports package. However, the Sports Package in an AWD is $1,100 MSRP while that of the RWD is $2,100 MSRP.

• Split 5-spoke 18 x 7.5-inch aluminum-alloy wheels with 225/50R18 (front) and 18 x 8.5-inch 245/45R18 (rear) summer performance tires (RWD models)
• Split 5-spoke 18 x 7.5-inch aluminum-alloy wheels with 225/50R18 all-season performance tires (front/rear) (AWD models)
• Sport brakes with 4-piston opposed front calipers with 14-inch rotors and 2-piston opposed rear calipers with 13.8-inch rotors (RWD models)
• Unique front fascia and side sills
• Solid-magnesium paddle shifters (not available on G37 Sport 6MT)
• Front sport seats with manual thigh extension and driver’s power torso and thigh support adjustment
• Unique sport stitching on steering wheel and front seats
• Aluminum pedals and footrest
• Sport-tuned suspension (RWD models)
• Viscous Limited-Slip Differential (RWD models)

I hear you. I drove around my local dealer's lot today and it seemed like the majority of the cars there have the regular 17" wheels. Also, almost all the posters in this thread live in a warmer climate than yours and mine.

Do you switch in winter tires for the winter months? How do summer tires work in snowy condition? In the DC Suburb, we probably get three days per year of snow actually accumulating on the ground.

I believe the G37xS still comes with 18" rims, but with M+S tires instead of the performance tires.

Don't forget the faster steering ratio in the sport package (14.7:1 vs 16.4:1). The Akebono brakes and the steering rack in the sport package makes this a mandatory option, IMO.

I'd get the sport, no doubt. But just to play devil's advocate, you can add the paddle shifters to the non sport version (since you listed that as one of the things you mainly wanted). There are several DIY guides around on the various sites.

Also the G37xS does not have the sport tuned suspension. Only the 6MT and the Journey w/ the sport package RWD has the above mentioned suspension. Owning a '07X, I wish they offered a Sport package back then so I'd highly suggest you get the sport package.

Yes, you're right. It just doesn't have the bigger brakes or sport tuned suspension. It doesn't have the VLSD either but then again it does have AWD and an electronically controlled centre differential.
