The G should have NEVER been a four door. The G35/G37 sedan is the fat ugly sister of the hot girl you like; G Coupe being the hot girl!

The '07-08 sedans had a curb weight of about 3530. I wonder how much different the new sedans will be?

Intersting comment to say the least. But since the Sedan is lighter, you must mean the thinner better looking sister. Also, if it wasn't for the G Sedan (since it's Infiniti's bread and butter), who knows if the Coupe would still exist today.

The biggest reason the Coupe has always been heavier than the Sedan is due to the added reinforcements in the doors.

the g37 sedan looks the same as the g35 sedan now
you are saying that wrong. the G35 sedan got the new design of the G37 sedan that was coming out.

what you guys are forgetting is that the new g35 sedan was the next design for the coming G37 and G37 sedan. they just dropped the G37 a few years after the G35 sedan showed the G37s coupe design.

its not often that a car company releases the new sedan before they release the couple version. either they shoud have released the new g35 sedan what would have been g37sedan in 08 when the g37 coupe was coming out. or released the G37 when they released the new g35 sedan

so people werent confused like some are now. alot of people are prolly thinking the G37 coupe was based off the G35 redesign when thtats not the case

Have we forgotten that the G35 sedan was released first.

All pre production cars must have badges covered when in public. The pre production GTR's were the same way...

I am not really liking it very much. But I said that when the last gen G35 sedan came out too and it eventually grew on me.

The first gen Coupes were about the same or slightly lighter than the first gen Sedans. It's somewhat surprising that the doors on the current gen Coupe accounted for such a significant weight increase.

Nope, not correct at all. ALL G Sedans (regardless of year) have been lighter than the Coupe.

My bad. I was looking at the AWD sedan's curb weight here: http://www.infinitihelp.com/Infiniti/Models/ . The weights were a bit closer with the previous gen than the current one, though.
