Miles Per Gallon Feedback

Hi all!

Was wondering if you lucky G37 owners can post up what kind of mileage you guys are getting? Please also share driving habbits/conditions that contributed to your mpg estimates.

Thanks!

I do stop and go traffic for 15 minutes and and highway the last 10. The systems tells me I'm averaging a little over 15 mpg.I'll guess around 17. I don't know seems very low to me. I'm trying to do my best not to drive it too hard, but its hard not too. hehe Lets see it after its broken in..

Mostly commute driving for me. In the morning (5:00 am), little traffic, so it's mainly 10 miles of interstate driving at 75 mph, followed by 35 miles of a heavily patrolled bridge (Lake Pontchartrain Causeway), and another 10 miles of 45 mph on feeder roads.

In the afternoon, the feeder roads are a stop and go crawl until I get back to the Bridge.

All in all, I'm averaging around 24mph. Not bad since the car only has about 600 miles on it.

My '05 TL, which I ran with Mobil 1 synthetic, averaged around 28 - 30 on the same route. I'll gladly trade 4 -6 mph for my G! It costs me about $500 more a year for gas at $3.00 for the 22K miles I put on the car.

Mixed city/highway (probably 80% city) - I'm getting 17 - 18 MPG. I did a trip yesterday between Houston and Austin (about 150 miles). I filled up just before getting on the highway. It was in the evening, so I drove with the A/C off, windows partially down. I also stuck to the speed limit (65 MPH at night). The trip computer show 26.5 MPG when I got home. I'm very happy with that. I have 2000 miles on the car.

Mixed driving I am averaging 19-22 MPG. I do accelerate agressively sometimes.

If one has to worry about fuel economy, this isn't the right car for s/he.

I'm stuck in some serious traffic most of the time, thus my gas mileage is around 14 when I have some fun, and 15-18 just taking it easy...

This mileage is down by just having the car on and not driving (when I show it to friends/coworkers). I'm expecting to have around 18 mpg once that stops.

Overall, it's not a big change from my SC430 which had around the same 18 mpg, albeit from a V8.

I think it's just to see what MPG people are getting, sounds harmless to me

Pretty mixed highway and city driving I am getting about 18 mpg. Based on my experince with my wifes 07 G35 sedan the mileage gets a little better after about 5K. Only by 2 or so mpg but better none the less.
Worse mileage than my previous car but I like this one a lot more!!!
