1- Fill tank
2 set odometer to zero and reset vehicle computer
3 drive till gauge registers 1/4 mark
4 refill tank
5 observe miles traveled on the odometer
6 divide gallons to fill up into miles traveled on the odometer
7 Result equals your MPG

I just got my car and I've been getting 26.5mpg on the highway and 24.5 combined the last 2 days. Yes, it could be better. But all cars could be better. And for the performance, I'm happy with this as it is higher then my last car.

I'd be interested in seeing some photos confirming your $2300 supercharger investment on improving your MPG.
Have you ever calculated how many miles and how many gallons of gasoline it would take to obtain a return on your $2300 investment?
BTW I only use regular 87 octane and get excellent highway mileage.

well I just got mine and i am averaging 17.6mpg. I got 176 miles on half a tank. My Xterra got 11.95mpg and sometimes I would only get 100 miles on a half tank. So lower payment + better gas mileage = happier gas card!

non sequitur :-)
Off the subject. Can anyone recommend an SUV with a third row that averages better than 20mpg? Real Life MPG experience preferred as I can look up window sticker MPG, but those numbers are rarely correct.
I need to trade my wife's pilot in soon, but I am not terribly familiar with MPG rating of SUVs anymore since it's been 7 years or so since I last shopped for one.

I drive fairly aggressively, but not crazy.. Usually 75-80 on the highway and quick acceleration in city.. I am getting 22.7 on the last 500 miles for my car. Only time I've reset it since buying, previous owner got 19.9 on 33k miles.
I do about 15 minutes highway 15 minutes city each way to and from work and mostly city during the weekends. Putting premium in her, of course.
