Also to note.
I've done 2 tanks with 87 octane driving in DSA mode the entire time and having some fun with the throttle - 30% granny driving
Avg is 23.5
With 91, I had to grandma drive it in D mode about 60% to get 23.5

I have to coupe model but figured mileage should be around the same. I went on a 160 mile round trip to Dorney Park and averaged 24.2 MPG according to computer. I'm surprised I got that I was doing 80-90 MPH the whole way. I'm stock except for Hypertech but will be putting in a CAI soon. Usually though I'm getting 21.2 MPG overall in my highway and city mix.

20 mpg going to work (70% city driving), and 29 mpg on highway at 75 mph in average. Octane gas 91 always from Costco.
I notice a difference of almost 1.5 liter (0.4 US gallon) in average consumption when considering my formers G37x (dont ask me why its a long story ...) one model 2009 and one 2010.
Now I have an 2013XS and it's going remarkably well (the tranny, the consumption, everything).
I have 12500 miles with it and the mpg diminished around 5-6000 miles. See that on all three G37x.
Overall I have a solid 22.5 mpg and I'm pretty happy with it.

A 1/4 mile @ a time
iTrader: (4)
Did a round trip up to Columbus, OH and averaged 27 mpg running between 70-75 mph.
During a normal week I average 23 mph 80% highway, but on my commute to work I usually run into the beginning of rush hour traffic, so it kills my mileage a bit. This tank I tried to keep a light foot in the gas and was averaging 26 mpg, but was quickly bored after a half a tank. I enjoy on ramps a little too much.

Fuelly requires entry of data in this form and offers a much larger sample size so provides a more reliable indication of averages.

On my second tank however, I'll drive it normally. This means, anytime I am first at the light, there will be like 10 car lengths between me and the second driver within several seconds.
I'm also not 100% sure what grade of gasoline I have in there now...as I bought it used. So my second tank will be premium, and will happen when there's at most 4-5 gallons left in the tank.
A quick question...is this sorta like a Maxima (previous car) where the fuel pump is kept cool by the gas in the tank? Is it submerged? I recall reading that you should NEVER run a Maxima all the way to empty as it can damage the fuel pump.
I'll try to run it until it says only 20 miles to empty, then fill up with 93 octane.
