Miles Per Gallon Feedback

Mostly NYC with some travel to NJ. Premium gas and i get around 17mpg. Even with regular gas i had the same mileage. I am sure 70% of gas stations lie about the gas rating so it doesnt really matter

I just averaged 30.5 MPG between Escondido and Newport Beach CA (all HWY, but crowded CA HWY). Average speed of about 70-75mph for roughly 70 miles. Lite traffic and weather in the 60s. It seems that once I hit 3000 miles and changed my oil to the dealer recommended synthetic blend, the MPG has been reasonable, even in stop and go traffic.
I posted a shot of the status screen from the HUD as proof:

Averaging 16mpg according to the car. After filling it with gas today I calculated 14mpg. I'd say 70% city driving.
The EPA city rating on this car is very misleading. 18 city/20 combined. Nearly impossible.

Same here. I average anywhere between 13-18 depending on how cold it is. And I am not an aggressive driver....coming from a hybrid car so I perfected how to get max mpgs out of it.
And I have a Mustang Mach 1... So I don't drive the G aggressive bc I already have my fun car.
When I drove a 5.4L V8 F150 I averaged 14-15.... I'm in awe as to why these G's are so bad.

while I didn't buy this car concerned on MPG and fuel cost, Im averaging 16.9 mpg at 19.8mph on 80% city driving.
Although I drive a bit aggressive but I have tried driving normal and still not much of an improvement at 17.2 mpg, 80% city.
a bit disappointed that I have to drive worrying about my next fill up and how many miles I have left. Still better than my old V6 SUV and wayyy faster and better so Im happy (for now).

I wasn't all too concerned with mpg's but I expected at least 18 mpg average. The Mach 1 I mentioned earlier is a V8 and I avg 18-20 on that and it has 4.10 gears....and I don't drive it anywhere near as nice as the G.
I bought it at the start of winter....so I keep telling myself that the better gas mileage HAS to come when the weather in warmer. It has to.

The car does well on the open road when you can drive it uninterrupted. I have another long drive today and will try to beat my previous best of 30.5 mpg. However, if you drive alot of stop and go (I have 11 stop lights between my house and work that's 4 miles away) and push the car aggressively off the line and use 'sport' mode, I've seen drops of MPG that are 1/2 the highway mileage quoted above. I can average 16-17mpg managing acceleration in stop and go. Since our fuel here in CA is not optimal, I'd guess this would be easy for most to average with a stock setup. Add larger tires, intakes/exhaust bolt-ons that lean out the AF mixture, etc, I think your MPG will drop. I'm still curious regarding ECU upgrades and what's possible wrt to increased performance mileage over the stock tune.

10-14, usually on the lower side of that because of my lead foot.
No idea of highway MPG, I live in Houston and rarely do highway driving.

Wait...I had my G37X 2011 Premium pack , for about a month now...
So 10-12mpg is NORMAL for NYC? I'm from brooklyn...
IF that's true I regret getting this car...I mean it's nice in every way but that I've never seen my Gas meter go from Full - Empty in less than a month..( drive 4 times a month) for about 2miles or less around Brooklyn)
