Going by the display, my car has lost some mpgs over the last ~38K miles. One example was running from ATL to St Augustine Beach, which I have done several times, the car used to get 26-28 with the cruise set at 10 over and the AC on. Now 23.7-24.5 is the new norm. Same deal going to and from ATL to Bradenton, FL.

2010 Sedan and I'm getting 23.7 60/40 - highway/city. My previous car was a 2006 G35 Sedan and I consistently got 21.5

ha, thought I was the only one. I'm averaging 12.2 mpg, mostly BQE traffic.

But I get a steady 25 mpg on open highways with a little spirited driving mixed in.

On my typical week, I run 280 miles of interstate (140 miles in two legs) and the rest of the gas tank doing city miles and 23.2 seems to be the average with about a 43 mph 'average' on the display. On the interstates I always ride at 10 over with the cruise on and I run the AC year around.

The car could careless if it runs on 87 or 93, as it doesn't add in mpgs.

I now have access to real gasoline, so I'm going to run that a few weeks and I'll report back.

Just got back from a trip from Louisville, Kentucky to Orlando, Florida. Averaged slightly more than 23MPG on the way down and slightly above 24MPG on the return trip. 820 miles/34 gallons. The car was fairly heavy and I kept the cruise on the return trip at 78MPH. It's a 6mt, I would assume that you could get 26mpg if you left it at 70. The car is definately a good cruiser.

Just got my 2013 g37 sedan on saturday. With 260 miles on it (200 highway), I'm at 25.8 mpg. I was getting over 28 on the first highway drive back home. Compared to the car I turned in (2005 G35 sedan) this mileage is amazing.

It's also really nice to actually see your mileage in real time and tank averages. Just seeing that alone encourages me to be a more steady driver. I don't know how good my mileage will be once I break it in though.. My G35 averaged 14.5 mpg, best tank I've ever had was 21.

One question, on the fuel history display, do I need to reset it every time I fill up, or does the car know when gas has been filled?

^^It does not reset automatically.

I still don't rely on the indicated mpg and prefer the old manual way of calculating mpg. Sometimes my #'s are close to what the computer displays, other times may very by 3-4 points.

I've been using an app called fuellog. All you do is input the information from each fill up and it keeps track of your data like your fuel economy, how much you spend on a yearly basis, monthly basis, and it'll even go as far as how much you spend per mile in gas. In the real world all of the statistics it gives you doesn't mean much, but if you're a numbers guy like me its a pretty cool app.

FWIW: Real gasoline seems to add +3 to +4mpg @ 80mph with the cruise set per the display.

28.08 miles per gallon on a 250 miles trip, 75 mph average speed, reg. unleaded, car has less than a 1000 miles on it. This is 2013 G37 AWD Sedan with four people in it.
