Mostly highway driving I average 19 mpg and 31 mph

ok everyone a full tank of gas got me 391miles, and thats city highway driving thats when the light came on.

I'm curious, does anyone know at what speed is our car at its most fuel efficient??

Just bought my G in Dec 08. I am getting about 16-17 mpg.

Don't worry about the low mileage for now. Mine has increased after some mileage. I have had the car now for a year, with about 9400 miles. I have seen my mileage increase by about 3mpg or so.

Wait, why does that happen? Is it because after the engine is broken-in, it gets more efficient or something?

Mine is most efficient between 2500 - 3000 rpm.

As for the mileage increasing, I would imagine it is because the engine is breaking in - rings seating and such.

I am usually seeing around 20-21 (mixed driving).....

My wife and I just got back from a little break from reality where we drove all through the lower Smokey Mountains and back along the coast through Savannah and I averaged right around 23mpg......

And boy oh boy did I enjoy the mountain roads compared to all the flat ones here in NE Florida.....

Hahah, no, when the car is off, you're getting 0 miles per 0 gallons, and 0/0 is considered indeterminate....
