11.52 L/100km or 24.42mpg
based on 1500km with 4 filled ups. The mileages are combination of city and secondary hwy (with traffic lights). Semi spirited driving as it is still in break-in period.

Anyone notice a difference in the computer mpg vs. manual calculation? Also, altitude can be a big factor. My current vehicle gets about 18-19 mpg highway @ sea level, but I've gotten as much as 23 mpg @ 8000-10,000ft. The computer automatically leans it out-less 02 = less gas. Please post which tranny you have as well

Well, I now have just about 8000 miles on my G37S. Fully loaded with 6MT. I average high 19 to 22 mpg running in what I will call City driving. There are very few lights with some moderate hills. If the mpg is on the lower end of my scale the AC is on, upper end and the AC is off.
I have only really taken it on the interstate for one good trip - Nashville to Baton Rouge area w/ AC on the whole way. Started out running at 70mph for the full tank and got upper end of 24mpg. After filling up, I took her up to 80 and was getting about 22-23 mpg. Then I took it to 85 and it dropped to 21mpg.
In the beggining, I only used BP93. Then ethanol started to creep its way into the BP stations in Nashville area. I then moved to Exxon 93. Still getting about the same mileage. Recently started seeing ethanol at a few Exxon stations.
My last fill up was at a Kwik-Sak in LaVergne, TN. Their sign indicated "Our Gas contains no ethanol". They had 93 octane when no one else did in Nashville during the recent stint of NO GAS. Fortunately, I had a motorcycle and a V6 Firebird, both of which were full of gas. Anyway, with the Kwik-Sak gas in the car, I have used almost 3/4 tank and am getting an average of 22.8 mpg in the city, avoiding lights as much as possible.

You wouldn't like it out here in Cali, they have a lot of ethanol for the emissions, and very very few pump 93, all 91 out here. I think it's easier to get your hands on race fuel, than 93.

My fear on ethanol is how corrosive it is. Not too worried about the G37, but I have some other older vehcles (98 Firebird, 90 Talon AWD (slightly modifed), and 99 Hayabusa) that may not be designed for ethanol use. Someone on the "hill" decided they wanted to force the ethanol issue and I have been hearing parts on some vehicles are being damaged.

Sucks you can't get any higher than 91 (unleaded).
