Those guys...if what they told you is true...then it's not so secretive that you can't share with us. If it is in fact so secretive and highly classified then what they told you is just BS.
Everybody claims to know something and in the end...it's all speculation.

It'll be the real deal not just a concept.

I used to work at a dealer.
I'll tell you...usually the dealer doesn't know anything more than the forum members...most of the time, I knew the most of the current events because I was always on these forums....no one else knew all that much.
Keep in mind that most car dealers are not all that interested in cars and are older folks that don't spend alot of time on forums.
I definitely agree the the guy that posted that the sedan would come out before the coupe.
Always does.
Hell Audi is going on 5 years for bringing out an A4 coupe for crying out loud.
But if the pictures of the protype G Sedan are close to production, I think it will look really nice.

well i think infiniti is capable of launching in nov. but honestly, i think the sedan will come out first, then the coupe with an auto, then the coupe and sedan with manual and then finally the sedan with awd. hell they havent even debuted the sedan concept yet. lets see when the production car is debuted then we can prolly have a better timeframe. i think most threads have said 08 anywyas and i kind of agree b.c for 06 they did a minor facelift and other upgrades. they'll prolly last that until 07. itd be nice if they got the coupe out though. its so hot.

i think we've all learned from the past that the dealer knows jack. so, i wouldn't rely on anything they say as far as "inside news". but, i think just common sense would dictate that the concept coupe is just that--a concept for future models (and far future, i might add). i'm thinking that we would be lucky if we see it in production in 2008. why would they introduce the new coupe at the same time as the gt-r? it doesn't make much business sense. ppl have also claimed that dealers have told them that the new g35 coupe would be 400 hp. again, why would they make it compete with the new gt-r? considering the success of the current coupe, i don't see why they would need to change the body much for at least another 2 yrs or so. car manufacturers usually start changing current designs when sales start to sag due to possible old styling. a rush to change the current styling too radically would only hurt resale value which is a big selling point for current infiniti cars. that's just my take.
