Poll: Buy / Trade in for 08 Coupe?
How many of you are seriously considering trading in your current car for the next generation Infiniti Coupe? Let's assume the production version is 90% of the concept (lower cost interior, 19" wheels, realistic mirrors and door handles), 330hp V6 and priced at $3000 over the current model. ($35k-$42k)

The only thing that would make me trade up for the new coupe would be if there was a significant difference in performance, particularly if they had a v8 or turbo option. Otherwise, I'll keep waiting for the GT-R.

IMHO.. the earliest we can expect the coupe is a spring '07 release as an '08
According to Edmunds.com:
"Shiro Nakamura, Infiniti's senior vice president of design, says the Coupe Concept shares its headlamps and taillamps with the upcoming G35 Sedan, which will debut at the New York auto show later this year. He wouldn't admit, however, how close the Coupe Concept is to an eventual production version of the two-door. We suspect it to be very close."

"With Infiniti’s recent model introductions we are building a new Infiniti on a foundation of “vibrant design” – the new M, the powerful QX, the enhanced FX, the dynamic G Coupe and, in New York in April, the reveal of the next generation G35 Sedan."
From Motortrend...
"The production version of this concept should break cover in about a year, and be on sale shortly thereafter, perhaps as a 2008 model."

Will trade up!
Well, my 3 year lease will be up in December 07, so I don't see why I should not upgrade to the new G35 coupe. Actually, (even though it's 22 months away) I'm still very exited. Guess it gives me something 'new' to look forward to. I have already contacted an infiniti dealer, and was told if the new coupe comes out before the end of my lease, the dealer will allow an early turn-in (at no penalty) to allow me to upgrade.
