Anyone notice? 7,500rpm redline +more..
1. the gauge cluster looks remarkably like the current g gauges. having said that, in the center you can clearly see the indicator used on radar/laser based cruise control. i could be wrong but this would be the first application of this technology in this segment, correct?
2. the tach. redlines @ 7,500rpm... could this be a further modification of the rev-up VQ? combined with a higher compression and a variable intake, that could bring power into the 320hp range, if not better, esp. if they switch to a 3.7L design.
3. Full leather dashboard. This would be great to see in production, I dont know of any other Japanese cars that feature this. I doubt this will see production however as they wouldnt eclipse the Ms. Then again, by the time this car comes out, the M will be up for revision as well, so who knows...

The first pix, if you look carefully, you'll see it's between 7 and 8. The last # is 9. The only way the VQ will rev and make power to 7500 RPM is if they add variable lift technology. That would be great I think. They don't even need to bump it to 3.7L. 3.5L making 325HP is only 92 HP/L. That's not very wild at all. The G has plenty of low and mid range power to me. Lift would make this great engine perfect.
