Hey there i recently picked up a 2014 q60 awd 3.7 automatic with 18k miles i drove it to 25k miles before doing a pan off transmission service and noticed with sprited driving it sounds like my tranmission fluid is boiling inside the pan and seems super hot i ordered a external tranmission cooler to install to try and mitigate the excess heat just curious if anyone else has experienced this issue what I may have done wrong or any advice on what I can do to resolve this would be greatly appreciated thank you
How are you listening to the fluid inside the pan after spirited driving?
When the 370Z was introduced on this platform, Nissan thought about adding both Oil and Transmission coolers before release, but then decided against doing so because it's only an issue when you push the car hard.
Both run hot, and the transmission specifically loves fresh fluid every 25-40k miles (heat breaks down the fluidly quickly).
