Is it time to sell and move on? 14 Q60s 6MT

How's it going everyone? As the title says, Im having a hard time deciding if I should sell my 2014 Q60s 6MT and move on. Im emotionally attached to this car obviously, if im posting this in a forum lol.My dad bought me this car as a High School Grad gift back in 2017. We had a road trip to Delaware from New York to buy this car . We bought it with 18,500 miles and currently it's sitting at 37,689 miles . It was my first manual car and made a lot of memories with it, met my girlfriend of 6 years and going (knock on wood) haha and it's just good experiences all around. This car has gotten babied all its life and it still is. I don't really drive much so it's pretty much just sitting. Two years ago I bought myself a 2020 330i x drive equipped with the M sport package and a beautiful cognac extended interior. The reason why I didn't get an M340i is because I didn't want my daily to be faster than my weekend car lol. It's a stupid reason but that's how much I care about my q60. I see GTRs, M3s and sometimes I ask myself like "is it really worth having my q60?". If I didn't have these two cars I could easily own a GTR or M3. but the thing that eats me alive is that if I sell this car I know for a fact im never going to find a clean one as the one I have now? That's really holding me back from getting a new car. I ask my family and friends and they all say the same thing. Im currently saving up for a e92 M3 as it is one of my dream M3s. What is your thoughts and what would you guys do?

A Q60S 6MT is a very uncommon car. And just because you're not driving it now, that doesn't mean you won't rekindle that relationship down the road a ways. And no car will ever have that emotional connection like the car you were gifted as a teenager.

Is the Q your only 6MT? Have you modified it at all? Some inexpensive mods might just spark some newfound joy.

My Q is my only 6MT car I have owned so far, Its modified a ton actually lol, I have 2.5" Stillen intakes , Fast Intentions Long tube headers, Motordyne full catback exhaust. AdminTuned making 330whp, Lowered on TEIN FlexZ coilovers. It's at the body shop right now getting Fly1Motorsport Carbon fenders installed, VIS racing carbon hood clear coat respray, seibon carbon trunk install, IPL side skirt install, Akebono Calipers are getting sprayed to red. I Have TE37s also going on the car when everything is done. There's a bunch of other little mods on the car lol but it would be an essay if I keep going lol. I have a lot of fun driving the car it's just those moments when I see these other cars it makes me think.

Wow. impressive.

In that case, put next car plans on the shelf for at least another year, and just enjoy your G.

I'm like you and my car becomes a part of the family. Your miles are really low, so it has so much life left in it.

Can you post a pic? I would keep it and continue to drive it once your 330i is out of warranty.

Or if you do sell, find someone as discriminating are yourself to carry the torch.

Yea man, I’ve babied this car ever since I bought because I knew I was going to keep it for a long time.

*This is the picture I got from the body shop, it’s done and it’s waiting for me to pick it up*
I still have to put the TE37s on there and fix the wonky fitment that it has since the Fly1Motorsport Carbon fenders are 12mm wider

Yea I was planning to eventually wrap it, and leave the vents on the hood and fenders exposed, I still don’t have a color in mind though. I guess we’ll see

Did you install the front & side splitters yourself? Any pointers on the install? Mine are still in boxes in the garage.

Sorry for the late reply but I let the body shop take care of everything for me. The side splitters were transferred over from my sport side skirts and I purchased a new front splitter because my old one flew off lol. You’re going to run into fitment issues with the Fly1Motorsport fenders, they’re notorious for having fitment issues.

For anyone wondering, this is how the car is sitting after the body shop. Turned out very clean
I went with red for the calipers and kept it OEM by keeping the “Infiniti” stickers on them. “Akebono” stickers were cool but I thought it looked clean if I kept it OEM. I felt that it’ll make the TE37s pop out a little more too with the color choice. Hope you guys like it.
