G37 Vs 350Z Interior Dimensions for Roll Cage (24 Hours of Lemons)

Looking to get a 24 Hours of Lemons cage in a G37. Trying to avoid having to cut and bend a cage and instead just get a kit cage. Can't find any for G37s, but I have found some Lemons-legal cages for 350Zs. Anyone know where I can find the actual interior dimensions of the G37 and 350Z? Not legroom or headroom, but things like distance from the firewall to the rear fender wells, or distance from the floor to the roof, or width between the A pillars at the bottom of the windshield and at the top of the windshield.

My guess is that the 350Z is smaller, so a cage should fit in the G37 with minimal modification.

Or perhaps someone knows of where to find a weld-in cage kit for the G37? My Google-fu has comeback with only bolt-in options which are not Lemons-legal.

Hi Everyone, Can someone sum up the main differences among the Z and G? I understand the Z is meant to be a sports vehicle and the G has two greater seats and extra luxurious. I'm debating if I can sacrifice seats in a day by day motive force. I also need a quick vehicle! Thanks!

I would think the G35 cages would be a closer start than the any of the Zs
isn't the RSR cage a weld in? It's not cheap though!

I’ve only seen the Bolt in cages from RSR, not the weld in ones. Bolt ins are not Lemons legal. I was thinking the G35 and 350z shared the same chassis more or less. Not worried about any interior pieces, that all has to be removed anyway including the seats.

Strut tower struts don't even cross over between the G37 and The 370z.
The 370Z is a couple of inches wider, tower to tower. Plus the firewall mount is non-existent in the G37.
And the interior, dash, floor pans are miles apart.
So yeah, I'd say start with a cassis specific bolt in and weld that suckker in.
or start from scratch and share your measurements/plans when your done ; )

Try asking these guys.

They may have a better idea of the differences and fitments
