"Cruise" light on, Cruise works, car doesn't have ICC
I've searched this site and the rest of the internet high and low and I'm stumped. My 08 6MT coupe has this "cruise" warning light on. Cruise control turns on and sets as it should. The car is not equipped with Intelligent Cruise Control, which is what the owners manual says this light is a warning for. Here's the verbiage from the owner's manual:
Intelligent Cruise Control (ICC) system warning light (Orange; if so equipped)
This light comes on if there is a malfunction in the Intelligent Cruise Control (ICC) system. If the warning light comes on, park the vehicle in a safe place. Turn the engine off, restart the engine, resume driving and set the ICC system again.
Preview Function warning light (Orange; if so equipped)
The light comes on if there is a malfunction in the Brake Assist (with Preview Function) system. If the warning light comes on, park the vehicle in a safe place. Turn the engine off, restart the engine, resume driving and set the ICC system again.
Does anyone have a clue what could cause this light to turn on in a car that does not have ICC?

Yes, the car does not have the ICC sensor in the front grill nor does it have the appropriate button on the steering wheel. It's also a g37"S" which I don't think had that as an option (I could be wrong on that though).
Scanning for codes will be my next step, I was just hoping to find someone who's experienced this. I'm hoping Autozone's scanner can read things like this that aren't actual "check engine" issues.

What is the history of your car, if known and has the light only recently illuminated?
AutoZone should be able to scan for all codes. Any quality scanner should be able to pull up any codes that are stored in the ECU. Even apps like OBDFusion can scan for them (with Nissan/Infiniti add-on/plug-in). In this instance, you will be looking for "C" codes.

I recently purchased the car and the light was on when I bought it. The dealer didn't know anything about it and since the cruise still worked I wasn't too concerned. I'm just surprised I can't find anyone who's had this issue, but it's also tricky to search for.
Also, thanks for the OBDFusion suggestion. I have Torque OBD, but my scanner is a super flaky ELM 327 and I doubt it's capable of pulling these codes even when it decides to work.
