Modifications

-exhaust system, resonated open cats.
-long tube intakes
-Admin Tuned

I was recieving a code for a o2 sensor, in bank 2 and I replaced it but now I get it’s too lean.

Being that it was admin tuned, any pops/bangs/burble tune?

These tunes will kill your AF and O2s prematurely, you could have had a failing sensor during the time you were tuned and now that you have replaced it, the ECM is now interpreting a different calculation.
Make sure you dont have any exhaust leaks and contact Moncef, he should be able to help you fix this issue if it's tuning related.

Thanks for the reply, and I might possibly have an exhaust leak I’ll check out, before I contact him.

maybe I’ll clean (or replace ) the MAF sensors and Check out the o2, 5$3’ check for a leak and if it still comes back I’ll be sure and shoot him a message.

From the FSM for possible causes of P0174 (Fuel Injections System Too Lean) • Intake air leaks • A/F sensor 1 • Fuel injector • Exhaust gas leaks • Incorrect fuel pressure • Lack of fuel • Mass air flow sensor • Incorrect PCV hose connection. Did you notice any exhaust leaks when you checked?

Beefychicken, how did you find that info? How could i find things to check when a code comes up like this, such as how you posted “air intake leak; maf sensor; low fuel pressure”

I used the factory service manual. It is (or used to be) available for download on nicoclub.com. look for the link for service manuals in the top bar.

Also, it could be tune related. Just had to recalibrate my MAF table today to clear a lean code due to the AFR missing the target above 6k RPM and at WOT. Just a thought. I use Uprev but I think Moncef uses ECU Tek, so I don't know if the MAF tables apply.

Got codes P0171-p0174 and code p0305

Hey what’s up guys, I got those same codes last night and apparently running lean in both bank 1 and 2 and shortly about 10min after that it gave me the code p0305 for a misfire on cylinder #5. Did you guys happen to find the fix for your codes?

The problem with mine was the MAF table calibration was off enough to cause a lean condition at WOT. Once we adjusted the table, everything worked fine, at least so far for the few hundred miles.
Is your car tuned, modded or stock?

My car is fully stock nothing done to it. I was just sitting in the car at the yard for about two hours with it on and then I went to the store for a drink and came back and as I parked there again that’s when the codes popped up. I’m not sure sir for having it on sitting still for too long could’ve affect it.

Try clearing the codes and see if it comes back. Several options to do that of which disconnecting the battery overnight is the easiest. You can search the forum for other methods as there is one that has you do a sequence of events to clear the codes.

Sounds good man thanks for input. Hopefully they don’t come back.
