As part of the repair/upgrade of the G37 stereo system, I have noted some adverse wear and tear on the stock alternator in my 2008 G37S. There are quite a few higher amperage alternators available for the G35, but not so much for the G37 (and what is out there is at a premium price!) Therefore, my question is will the G35 alternator physically fit in a G37?

 

As long as the G35 in question is 2008 + then it will be.
Something I found interesting

The factory should be 150amps with aftermarket replacements only providing 130amp.
Which shows that you should be using Hitachi or AC delco replacements, anything else will put you under 150a
