So I am very confused checking a vin of a g37 that I am very interested in. Carfax says that it is a G37 Coupe JOURNEY/IPL. Seller says it comes with the sports package as well. But when I am looking at the pictures I don't see any signs of ipl seats, side skirts, or wheels. It has G37S badge on the back as well but no sign of IPL. How is this possible?

I thought the VINs for the G37 didn't decode very well. I couldn't find anything really definitive when I bought mine.

As for @Huynh4ever if the seats don't have red stitching and the wheels don't match up I'd say it's probably not an IPL. The easiest way to tell is the engine cover will have the IPL logo instead of the normal Infiniti one, and that's not something I expect people to replace for no reason. I'm trying to think of if mine had the G37S on the back before I took it off or if it was just G37 but I can't remember.

 

Using the link above, I ran a IPL VIN from a listing off eBay. It shows just about every single detail of the car.
